In 2024, ACS made the largest private investment in apprenticeship infrastructure in our nation’s history with the launch of a 68,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, Apprenticeship Innovation Center. Located in the heart of Houston’s Energy Corridor, the facility is dedicated to assist employers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop, launch, and scale “quality” registered apprenticeships.  

The ACS team includes national-level experts to help navigate complex regulatory environments, such as the Davis Bacon and Related Acts, National Apprenticeship Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and the CHIPS and Science Act. In addition to professional expertise and mentorship, the Center’s capacity and technology provides an incubator environment for accessing skilled instructors as well as the facilitation, implementation, and optimization of registered apprenticeship and compliance programs.
